AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Panhandle PBS says it’s attempting to host the largest single game of Warhammer 40,000 ever held in the Texas Panhandle.

This event is open to all ages and will start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9 in the studio at 2408 S. Jackson.

Event organizers say players will be split into two teams, splitting the total points of armies in attendance as evenly as possible.

Check-in times will be in 30-minute blocks starting at 7:30 a.m., with deployment starting around 9 a.m. and the first battle round beginning at 10 a.m.

Players are encouraged to submit a single painted model to be judged by Panhandle PBS staff, who will award first, second and third place.
