Local residents are invited to pop the cork on an evening supporting a great cause.
The Center Grove Rotary Club will once again host Rotary Uncorked, it’s annual fundraiser for community projects, from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Sycamore at Mallow Run.
This year, club members have decided to dedicate half of the proceeds to benefit Damar Services, supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges. The rest of the proceeds will go towards scholarships for local students and other community causes.
“It really impressed us about what Damar Services does for those who … have intensive needs, things like that. It really really touched our hearts,” said Dan McCarthy, president of the Center Grove Rotary Club.
