JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The laughs return to Lucille Ball’s hometown this week as the 35th annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival kicks off in Jamestown.

The four-day event, running from August 7-10, features 50 live events, including stand-up shows, comedy workshops, and special tributes.

“This weekend, our headliners include Jon Stewart on Saturday night. That event is sold out,” said Gary Hahn, vice president of marketing and communications at the National Comedy Center. “But we also have Bill Murray performing with his rock and blues band, The Blood Brothers, and a stand-up showcase as part of that event on Sunday at 5 p.m.”
