DICKINSON — Following the Badlands Big Sticks’ dominant 11-2 victory over the Mankato MoonDogs, things seemed to start to trend upwards. They snapped a three-game losing streak and the offense finally produced after being stagnant during their losing-skid.
Unfortunately, the momentum from Tuesday’s win couldn’t carry over into Wednesday’s pivotal game against the Minot Hot Tots, and the Big Sticks fell 4-2, pushing them 2.5 games back of first place with only three games to go in the regular season.
Badlands only tallied two runs on four hits and did not record a single hit in the final four innings of the contest, and left five runners stranded.
