FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Lisa Parks is running for Prosecuting Attorney in Arkansas’s 4th Judicial District, covering Washington and Madison Counties.

Parks has more than 25 years of experience in the criminal justice system, including 17 years as a public defender and the past seven as an attorney with the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

The non-partisan election for 4th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney will be held on March 3, 2026. Washington County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Denis Dean is also a candidate.

“I will be a tough but fair Prosecutor,” Parks said in a news release announcing her run. “Violent criminals have no place on our streets, and I will fight every day to protect our children and families.”
