WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The Carthage American Legion is throwing an anniversary celebration Saturday and the public is invited.
It’s the 105th anniversary of the Legion post. The Legion couldn’t celebrate its 100th because of Covid, but never mind that - Saturday’s party promises to be a good time.
It starts at 1 PM, is free to everyone and anyone is welcome. The food - hot dogs, hamburgers and soda - is also free.
The Legion post is at 415 West Street, but the parking lot and entrance face State Street, across from the Kinney Drugs store.
Don Davenport and Mike LaDuc from the Legion joined 7 News at Noon Thursday with details Thursday. To watch, click on the picture above this post.
