Bulking Up : As it gets closer to its detachment from NBCUniversal News Group , MSNBC continues to build its reporting ranks, announcing a slew of additions, including Jacob Soboroff , who will be the network’s senior national and political correspondent.

Soboroff rejoins MSNBC from NBC News, where he served as political and national correspondent. His addition to MSNBC is viewed as a homecoming, as he originally joined the network in 2015.

MSNBC this week also announced seven new hires joining its Washington, D.C., bureau, including four from NBC News. They are: Ryan Reilly as senior justice reporter, Priya Sridhar as Pentagon reporter, and Julia Jester and Alex Tabet as reporters from NBC News.
