ST. PAUL, Minn. — A federal jury has found Carl Maurice Brown, 32, guilty of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine.
This verdict follows a three-day trial.
Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson says Brown was among several defendants indicted in February 2024 for distributing these drugs as part of a larger operation led by Ezell Cordero Lucas, also known as "Cash." Lucas and five others have already pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
