The volume and intensity at the Jets' training camp has picked up, and HC Aaron Glenn said the reps will continue to increase as the team inches closer to the regular season. With the increased workload has come inevitable wear and tear, and Glenn shared with reporters Tuesday that several players are currently sidelined with injuries.

TE Mason Taylor (high ankle sprain) and QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) missed practice for the second consecutive day, while DL Byron Cowart (ankle), edge Will McDonald IV (back spasms) and rookie CB Azareye'h Thomas (shoulder) all left practice early.

"This is the dog days of camp, and listen -- it's not fun for anybody, but it's necessary," Glenn said. "Our guys went out there and got a good amount of reps today. And practice was built to be that way. We
