FRONT ROYAL — The Front Royal Little League (FRLL) All Star team received a hero's welcome Wednesday night.

As the team returned home from Georgia, where they placed third in the Little League Southeast Regional Tournament, fans lined the streets to cheer the team on as their bus made its way through town.

Escorted by town and county police and the fire department with lights ablaze, the team bus ended its trip at Marlow Heights Baptist Church, where a crowd of 250 or so waited with signs, bubble machines and voices booming with pride.
