MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A lucky lottery player in Manhattan is $1 million richer!

The New York Lottery announced a prize-winning Powerball ticket was sold for the Aug. 6 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Diamond News Inc. at 631 Second Avenue.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Additionally, another $1 million prize-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Bergen County, New Jersey, for Wednesday's drawing.
