WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - It’s that time of year again. Time to “Drop Your Drawers.”

Every year, Flower Memorial Library in Watertown collects donated new pairs of underwear to give out to Watertown elementary schools for their emergency supplies.

The library is collecting sizes four through 16.

The library is also collecting diapers, which will go to the Healthy Families program at North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council.

“When kids, especially during the first part of school, they’re very nervous, sometimes they have accidents. When they’re at the nurse, they’re just stuck there and waiting for parents to come,” said Ashley Morrison, Flower’s teen services librarian.
