A Ventnor man who allegedly struck and killed an Atlantic City woman with his vehicle earlier this year on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township was indicted Wednesday, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

Gino M. Garofalo, 32, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

Alisha Cottman, 40, was walking across the pike in front of the Economy Inn in the West Atlantic City section of the township when a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by Garofalo hit her at 8 p.m. Feb. 18, police previously said.

Garofalo's vehicle was recovered by Philadelphia police, the township department said.

Municipal court records show Garofalo received multiple traffic citations for failing to report, obstruction of windshield and unclear plates.
