In the water battle version of the Hatfields and McCoys neighboring districts continue to have their differences with agencies involved sending letters to each other in the last month.
And has been the case before when it comes to trying to meet the requirements of the Sustainability Groundwater Management Act the dispute is over subsidence with two agencies claiming the other isn't doing enough to deal with the issue.
It's part of the long running battle along the Tulare-Kings Counties line involving the Lower Tule River Irrigation and Pixley Districts and the Angiola Water District. Also involved is the Tri-Counties Water Authority Groundwater Sustainability Agency which covers areas in Tulare, Kings and Kern Counties in both the Tulare Lake and Tule Subbasins.
