Camilla Luddington, known for her role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” recently shared that she has been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune condition that helped explain her longtime fatigue, Parade reports.
The 41-year-old actress opened up about her health journey during the Aug. 6 episode of her “Call It What It Is” podcast, revealing that routine blood work led to the unexpected diagnosis approximately two and a half months ago.
“Long as you’ve been listening to us, you’ve known that I joke about being slothy. Just a little slower,” Luddington explained on the podcast. “Slower, tired, wanna be in bed, love a nap. It never occurred to me that there could be a medical reason for that.”
