BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Madison Prep Chargers are coming off a big season, having reached the state semifinals before a tough 35-28 loss to Archbishop Shaw.

The Chargers had won nine straight games before that defeat, but are now hungry to hopefully finish the job in 2025.

Head coach Landry Williams is back for his 8thyear leading the program and has been in coaching for the better part of three decades.

Landry lost a total of 13 players who are now transitioning into college football, including quarterback Tylan Johnson and running back Alfred McKnight.

Still, there’s plenty of talent still on the roster, including Tylan’s little brother Landon, a young man Madison Prep can play all over the field.
