SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Springfield Police arrested a man on Tuesday in connection with a May shooting in Wilbraham.
Shortly before midnight on May 29, Wilbraham police officers responded to Springfield Street for a report of shots fired.
An investigation continued through the summer and 29-year-old Michael Murdock Jr. of Springfield was identified as a suspect. Springfield officers found and arrested him on Tuesday after a traffic stop. They also reportedly found a loaded firearm, almost five grams of cocaine, and more than $600 in cash inside the car.
Murdock Jr. has been charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession of ammunition without an FID card, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, in addition to charges related to the
