CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said that a Cranston man was arrested at a residence operating as a daycare as part of a HIDTA Task Force investigation on Aug. 7.
31-year-old Aaron Cabreja was charged with possession with the intent to deliver over 1 ounce of a Schedule II controlled substance – fentanyl, possession with the intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance – fentanyl, possession with the intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance – crack cocaine, distribution of a controlled substance in a school zone, and possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation.
Cabreja was arrested at the Promenade Kids daycare facility on Western Promenade, where police said he was residing with the daughter of the facility’s owner.
