Johnston City ensures every student starts the year ready

JOHNSTON CITY — Every student in the Johnston City School District will start the school year with a backpack full of supplies — and families won’t have to pay for any of it.

Through funding from the Full-Service Community Schools grant, the district is providing school supplies for all students, from pre-K through high school, during upcoming open houses and orientation events.
