MCPHERSON, Kan. (KAKE) - A McPherson third grader is making a difference in his community- one autism kit at a time.

Chevy Settrine was diagnosed with autism when he was four years old, but he hasn’t let that stop him from helping others in his community. He and his family have put together and distributed autism kits, sensory kits, or de-escalation kits to help other neurodivergent people in times of need. Each kit has fidget toys, communication cards and noise-canceling headphones.
