St. Thomas men's basketball will travel to Moraga, California, on college basketball's opening night to face mid-major powerhouse St. Mary's on November 3, according to college basketball scheduling analyst Rocco Miller.

There has been a lot of talk about the Tommies opening their brand new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena against Army. The Gophers reportedly reached out about potentially playing an exhibition, but nothing materialized. The Tommies will first play on the road against one of the best mid-major programs in the country.
