AUBURN — There's not much to say regarding position battles on Auburn football 's roster heading into the 2025 season. The offense seems practically set, using mild variety on its first and second rotations through more than a week of preseason camp. The defense has inevitably seen more mix-up, though those vying for starting roles appear clearly defined.
There is one battle that has become the storyline of camp, however, but it's not between players in the same room. It's between Auburn 's wide receivers and defensive backs, with a star-studded group on the offense going up against a defensive bunch that over-performed last fall and added needed depth this offseason.
"All us pushing each other is going to help the team," Auburn cornerback Jay Crawford said Monday. "The corners (are)
