Roman Anthony can settle down in Massachusetts after signing a long-term extension with the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox announced a new deal Wednesday for Anthony, who joined the team in June. The 21-year-old outfielder will reportedly make $130 million — with the chance to earn up to $230 million if unlocking escalators — over an eight-year contract beginning next season.

Anthony had a day off to celebrate his life-changing payday, as the Red Sox don’t play on Thursday. He commemorated the extension by posting a photo of himself in uniform, accompanied by a simple message.

“Home,” Anthony wrote on Instagram.
