SPOKANE, Wash. — Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario (NRCC) announced on Thursday that it is partnering with No-Li Brewhouse to host a community fiesta after the cancellation of what would have been the 5th annual Tacos y Tequila Festival.

NRCC canceled the festival late last month , citing rising tensions surrounding anti-immigrant rhetoric and safety concerns.

The replacement fiesta will take place at the No-Li Bier Hall on Friday, August 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. The event is open to people ages 18 and older.

Owner of No-Li Brewhouse John Bryant says he's been partnering with Nuestras Raíces for three years now and hopes this event will show the community the fact that we need to love and respect everyone.
