FORT STEWART, Ga. — The Army on Thursday morning provided further insight into the shooting a day before at Fort Stewart in southeast Georgia that left five soldiers injured.

Among the most significant pieces of new information is that three of the wounded soldiers have already been released from the hospital. Two remain in care, with one of those two appearing to have suffered more serious injuries as the commanding general at Fort Stewart, Brig. Gen. John Lubas, said she had a "little bit longer road to recovery."
