WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Vice President JD Vance touched down in Indianapolis on Thursday, as the Trump administration tries to convince Republican-led states to redraw district lines for the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Vice President met with Gov. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) at the state house.
"We covered a wide array of topics," Braun said.
Braun was asked if he and Vance came to an agreement.
"We listened," he responded.
Braun confirmed they did discuss redistricting.
Historically, the party in the White House has suffered during midterm elections. Republicans are trying to maintain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
President Donald Trump has pushed Republican-led states to draw lines for congressional districts that would give Republicans a better chance of keeping the
