DETROIT (KCTV) - A former Missouri Tiger won’t be suiting up for the Detroit Lions this season.

Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Thursday after suffering a shoulder injury during training camp.

Rakestraw Jr. was selected by the Lions in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 61st overall pick.

The 5-foot-11 former Tiger played in just eight games as a rookie after being placed on injured reserve in November due to a hamstring injury.
