MADISON COUNTY, Neb. (KCAU) — The wife of Jason Jones, the man convicted of murdering four people in Laurel, Nebraska, has been found guilty of first-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and accessory to a felony.

Carrie Jones' trial began on July 28, lasting for approximately two weeks. On Thursday/Friday, a jury found Carrie Jones guilty of all three of her charges. Her trial took place at the Madison County Courthouse.

Opening statements of her trial included testimony from local officials, her neighbor, and the victims Gene and Janet Twiford's daughter.
