Pueblo police quickly located and arrested an armed robbery suspect after he allegedly robbed a local credit union on July 31.

The suspect allegedly robbed a credit union on South Prairie Avenue and fled in a vehicle.

Officers were able to locate and track the suspect vehicle later that day with the help of Pueblo PD's Real-Time Crime Center.

Pueblo police quickly apprehended a man after he allegedly robbed a credit union at gunpoint last week, the Pueblo Police Department announced in an Aug. 7 news release .

J.E. Wroten, 45, was arrested less than two and a half hours after the alleged robbery on July 31, according to the release.

Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of South Prairie Avenue at approximately 2:20 p.m. following a report of armed robbery at a credit union.
