LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) -- A Morgan County man, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the drunk driving death of a Harvest teen, is asking for a new trial.
Reaford Williams' car hit and killed 19-year-old Troy Rashawn Howard in 2019.

Williams received his sentence in May, but he was back in a Limestone County courtroom Thursday, with his attorneys arguing he did not receive a fair trial.
The jury was allowed to hear information about Williams' past that made it difficult for them to find him not guilty. Williams kept his head down as his attorneys argued that the prosecutor's closing statements were particularly prejudicial during his trial.
