In his many years of service in New Hampshire, former Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court John Broderick has seen and heard many things: crises, tragedies and stories of survival. But he said few, if any, compare to the horrors that he has listened to from the people who have alleged suffering years of abuse in state custody.

"These are people we abused when they were children. I don't know about you, but it's a moral outrage in my mind," Broderick told News 9 in his first sit-down interview since he left his post as administrator of the Youth Development Center settlement fund.

Broderick said he now believes that victims of alleged abuse at the YDC and other state-run facilities might never receive justice after he claims he was forced out of his position. He
