Beverley Mitchell is placing her insecurities on the altar.

The 7th Heaven alum shared a vulnerable update about her recent social media usage and the reason she felt the urge to hide behind an Instagram filter.

“You've probably noticed that a few of my videos have all had filters on it, and I'm just going to be honest,” Beverley said in an Aug. 6 Instagram video. “Lately I have not been feeling super great about myself. I've definitely been really hard on myself and just not feeling that I recognize my body. A lot of things happening.”

But after recognizing her self-doubt, the 44-year-old—who shares kids Kenzie , 12, Hutton , 10, and Mayzel , 5, with husband Michael Cameron —has decided she’s had enough.
