Seattle Mariners first baseman Josh Naylor exited Thursday’s series finale against the Chicago White Sox after showing some discomfort on a trio of swings during a three-pitch at-bat in which he grounded out in to end the bottom of the third.

The club has yet to announce the reason for Naylor’s early exit. We will update this post when more information becomes available.

Veteran Donovan Solano came into the game as a defensive replacement for Naylor in the top of the fourth.
