Seattle Mariners first baseman Josh Naylor exited Thursday’s series finale against the Chicago White Sox after showing some discomfort on a trio of swings during a three-pitch at-bat in which he grounded out in to end the bottom of the third.

Veteran Donovan Solano came into the game as a defensive replacement for Naylor in the top of the fourth.
