KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- On Thursday morning, Jay Z's Team ROC filed a legal amicus curiae brief, challenging the dismissal of a lawsuit against the Unified Government (UG) of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas (KCK) and supporting multiple women who claim to have been assaulted by now-deceased KCKPD detective Roger Golubski.

According to the brief, Team ROC has requested that the courts reverse the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by five of Golubski's alleged victims -- Michelle Houcks, Saundra Newsom, Niko Quinn, Ophelia Williams and Richelle Miller -- and asks that the women be afforded access to the federal court system to litigate their claims.
