LAND O LAKES, Fla., (WFLA) - Thursday morning was a very special time for a retired Master Police Officer with the Tampa Police Department who was injured on the job.
Through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, he and his family were given the keys to a mortgage-free smart home in the "Let Us Do Good Village."
It was a very joyous and emotional day for Christopher LaFramboise as he and his family saw their new home.
Inside this smart home is a door that opens and closes on its own, wide aisles, an accessible shower, an emergency call button in the bathroom, and more.
