A 24-year-old Florida man is counting his lucky stars after surviving a terrifying bull shark attack that almost cost him his foot. Chance Armand was spearfishing 20 miles off Pensacola Pass in Florida, when an 8-foot beast struck, sinking its teeth into his leg in a heart-stopping moment.Armand, an avid spearfisher, spotted the shark’s shadow while ascending with a speared fish. ‌

“By the time I realised he wasn’t turning back, it was too late,” he told Fox affiliate WALA. ‌

Used to seeing sharks, he was shocked when this one lunged. ‌
