CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Narcotics investigators with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office conducted a vehicle stop involving two suspects allegedly trafficking fentanyl Tuesday.
During the stop, investigators searched the vehicle, which led to the discovery of approximately 47 grams of fentanyl, one gram of methamphetamine, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Allyson Kerri Peace, of Vale, was arrested and charged with: • Trafficking Opium or Heroin • Conspiracy to Traffic Opium or Heroin • Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Peace is currently being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 11.
Frank Anthony Merhi, also of Vale, was arrested and charged with: • Trafficking Opium or Her
