The National Ability Center’s 18th annual Summit Challenge will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, and will feature an ’80s theme in commemoration of the nonprofit’s 40th anniversary.

The center is inviting cyclists of all ages and abilities to don their favorite ’80s colors and fashions while they ride through northern Utah’s mountains and raise money for the National Ability Center’s adaptive recreation programs.

This year’s fundraising goal is $175,000, and the National Ability Center said it expects this year’s event to be the biggest yet, expecting 1,000 riders and nearly 200 spectators
