SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A barricaded San Angelo fugitive was captured by local officials after he fell through a ceiling.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, the TGSO concluded a two-day search for Joe Lucio, 40, of San Angelo, when deputies entered a residence in a home off of Gregory Drive. At approximately 11:15 a.m., deputies observed Lucio outside the home. The suspect then ran inside after refusing to respond to the deputies' efforts for him to surrender.

The Tom Green County Special Response Team entered the residence and determined that Lucio had barricaded himself inside the attic of the residence. Deputies then dispensed chemical munitions into the attic, and Lucio subsequently fell partially through the ceiling of the residence in his attempt to shield himself from the c
