TAYLOR, Texas — Taylor police are asking for the public's help locating a man last seen several days ago.

Police said David Brown, 54, was reported missing on Aug. 3, after walking out of a family member's home on the 400 block of Sloan Street. Brown is from the Waco area and has no vehicle, phone or known associates around Taylor, according to police.

Police said Brown made suicidal statements before leaving the home. He also has severe epilepsy and requires medication that police say may cause him to act violently if he doesn't take it or if he is intoxicated.

Brown was last seen wearing black pants, a yellow polo shirt and white shoes with red on them. He reportedly has a scar or dent on his forehead and walks with an obvious limp.
