AUSTIN, Texas — Austin's Watershed Protection Department is investigating after numerous fish were found dead at Mueller Lake Park in Central East Austin Thursday.

On Thursday, crews were spotted checking on conditions around the water, although they haven't said what caused the fish to die.

The Watershed Protection Department is asking anyone who spots potential water pollution to report it to 311.
