BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - As we move into August, we inch closer to hitting the halfway mark of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season and the historical peak of the season. Though, with about three months left in the season, the latest updates from NOAA and Colorado State University still forecast an above-normal season for the rest of the year, as oceanic and atmospheric conditions continue to be favorable for development, which is consistent to their predictions back in May. Though, numbers and ranges have been slightly adjusted for the remainder of the year.
