A group seeking a referendum on Alberta separation appeared in court Thursday to oppose the Alberta chief electoral officer’s decision to gauge the constitutionality of their proposed question by referring it to a judge.
The Alberta Prosperity Project, led by Mitch Sylvestre, is seeking to ask Albertans: “Do you agree that the province of Alberta shall become a sovereign country and cease to be a province in Canada?”
