CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department says a man is now facing eight charges in connection with a shooting on July 4.

According to police, 20-year-old Anthony Maurice Hopkins is facing two counts each of reckless handling of a firearm, willful discharge of a firearm in a public place, use of a firearm while committing a felony, and attempted malicious wounding.
