TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Instagram rolled out a bunch of new features this week, including the ability to repost reels and feed posts and a new map feature.

The Instagram Map feature is similar to Snapchat's Snap Maps, allowing you to share your last active location with friends. It also allows you to see from where your favorite creators are posting.

Your exact location is updated every time you open Instagram. According to Meta, the location sharing feature is off unless you choose to opt in.

Instagram allows you to share locations with friends (followers who follow you back), close friends, or a select group of people.
