Residents and businesses in Granada Hills and Porter Ranch are being urged to conserve tap water while restoration efforts continue. The area, along with parts of Malibu, remains under a water boil notice.

Meanwhile, officials say the city of L.A. is ready for any emergency water needs.

“In anticipation of ongoing high temperatures, we have pre-deployed firefighters, firetrucks, water tankers, and fire helicopters to make sure any emergency is quickly handled,” L.A. Mayor Karen Bass said in a news conference Wednesday night.
