Two local schools won first-place statewide awards for the performance, academics and sportsmanship of student-athletes.
Twin Falls High School won the "Schools of Excellence" award from the Idaho High School Activities Association for the 5A classification, and Kimberly High School won the award in the 4A classification for the 2024-25 school year.
"This award reflects the dedication of our students, coaches, teachers, and community," Twin Falls High School Principal Nancy Jones said in a release. "It's about more than just winning games — it's about setting high standards in academics, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We’re proud to represent Twin Falls at the highest level."
The award is a "true testament" to Kimberly High School's all-around excellence, according to a social media post
