GLENWOOD, Iowa (WOWT) - Authorities have identified the people involved in Wednesday night’s fatal incident in Glenwood.

“Preliminary investigation suggests the shooting stemmed from an interpersonal dispute between the parties,” according to a news release Thursday afternoon by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation .

DCI said Brandon Oman, age 38, died at the scene, and his 35-year-old wife, Stevie Oman, was transported to Nebraska Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.

Dennis Burnell, 71, was critically injured in the fire but was taken into custody upon exiting his burning home, Iowa DCI said in its release.

“(He) has been identified as the person responsible for the Omans’ deaths,” the release states.
