At Sunrise Artisan Bath and Body in Columbia’s Five Points, owner Tzima Brown crafts skincare with ingredients shipped from overseas. “So, most of the ingredients that I use in my products are imported from Europe, like 95% of the ingredients I use.”
Brown says she buys European inputs because of stricter regulations on fragrances, colorants, and essential oils. “Their ingredients are purer than what a lot of the stuff that we get here.”
