BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The first day of school can be difficult for some kids. But this year at Brazos Christian School, there’s a four-legged friend ready to ease any first day jitters.
Mary Woods, director of guidance for the school, told KBTX she’s wanted a comfort dog to roam the halls for a while now. She describes Brazos Christian as unique, serving kids from as young as three years old, all the way up to 18. So, school officials wanted a dog capable of helping kids at any stage of life.
